Anderson Wedding at Hope Glen Farms

So... last weekend the bestie got married. You know the person you don't see ALL the time but when you do, you cannot stop talking? Well, Lee is that friend for me. I love having one-one time with her and it usually lasts for multiple hours. This girl married her best friend and it was so evident. It was a perfect wedding to be apart of and to help deocrate for. She is very talented in her decor and style sense and those two things were VERY evident. Please enjoy the collage of memories that are not my photos.

The A's Are Back In Town

So we went to the A's game(s) the other day... We had been waiting since April to get to go and it was so worth it. We lost the first day on a devastating 8th inning homer but totally humiliated the Twins the second night by a score of 18-3 We enjoyed ourselves in every way and made some enemies while we were at it.  It was a complete blast!  Go A's!

Just loved his time with the team...

You can get SO close to the opposing team
during batting practice.

This is the pitchers playing bocce
ball while the game was going on.

We had seats RIGHT NEXT to the bull pen. AWESOME!

This is Suzuki but I got nervous when he
looked at me  so that is why it is blurry.

I am totally an A's fan because of this man.

Day Two: We won, in case you forgot.

Just relaxing with a 12 run lead.

Presh couple that LOVE the A's more than Caleb.
She had her glove ready and on the whole game.
He printed off the old school line up cards.

Tons of Twin fans left so we got nice seats for the end.

Beach Front View of Labor Day

Well folks, I feel like we had the best of times over the Labor Day. We went beach camping on the Mississippi River. It was so fun. We were dropped of by Caleb's friend, Tim, and then we had dinner, bfast, lunch before Tim came to get us the next day. What did we eat? Hot Dogs for lunch and dinner and eggs with sausage in the cast iron skillet. We also made coffee on the fire with the french press and had a 2 liter of cherry coke. It was awesome! What did we do with our time? Well Caleb fished, I picked rocks for the fire pit and then we laid in that hammock for a good amount of time. We brought wood with us so that was never a worry. It was SO windy so we did use every last piece of wood that we found and then pulled up some exposed roots from the trees after that. Did we sleep? Nah, not a whole lot. We thought the sand would cushion us, it did not. We thought people would go to be around midnight, the last went to bed at 4AM so we were up most the night listening to oldies whether we wanted to or not. We would totally do it all over again... we would just bring the air mattress, that is all. Please enjoy the picks to visually see how much fun we had. It was way fun, peeps.

Corning Weekend

My mom has created a tradition starting this year of having a weekend getaway. She is really good at snatching fun ideas and inviting those to do vacations with her. Well this year we went all out, WI style. We went to the Packer/Seahawks game and also to Sheboygan, WI to the Blue Harbor Resort. If any of you have been to either of these places you know what this post is going to be about...FUN, FUN, FUN!

We met my mom in Wis Dells on Friday morning to do the drive with the family (My mom, grandma, bro/cousin Ezra, Caleb and me). We took the route that mom and I are obesessed with. It is a drive through where my mom grew up, where my grandma has lived for many seasons of her life, and through cutsie towns that have cutsie shops. If any of you get the chance to go through Briggsville or Princeton, WI... let me know. I will go with you, ha! Needless to say, we all got something at some point of this trip. Hardship USA was when I elected Caleb to drive and we ran into 2 hours worth of standstill traffic. We were pumped to eat at the stadium (in their restaurant) but did not have enough time. We were pumped to park far away so that we didnt have to drop a load of cash for parking but we did not have enough time. We did however see kick off and we did however have photos to share regarding this fun event we had at Lambeau Field. Please enjoy....

74,000 people in attendance.

"Stand up for the Green Bay Packers", NO THANK YOU!

My precious grandma in the stands...

Ezra just hating his time in a sport's arena.

Don't worry, Caleb was paying attention to the Bears too.

After the game we had the 2 hour car ride to a different city on the water, Sheboygan. We got to the resort, marveled at its massiveness and then went to bed ASAP. When we awoke, my mom and I were the first ones up. We went to the balcony and this is what we say....

We were so content with this scene that we stayed out there for hours just chatting and enjoying Jesus beauty. The resort has great little shops nearby and also walking on the beach... we participated in both. Ha.

My time with my family was great and I enjoyed every part of it. Learning from generations above (and below) me is fantastic but being able to make memories with them is something that is a constant blessing.

Wedding, Family, Milestone, Baby... In That Order

Hello folks, I think I just had the best couple of days. Over the weekend Caleb and I went to the cornstalks (Iowa) and spent some time with his friends and family. It was an honest blast and a half. Please enjoy the captions to photos, the style of a blog I most enjoy. K, byes.

On our way to the wedding, Caleb picked out my dress.

These are the original five homeschool basketball stars.

Kendy chilled in her undies all weekend.

She is reading a story to us like a teacher.

SIDE NOTE: car hit a milestone... it matters.
Also, this weekend, my friend Kirstie had her baby. Long story behind the arrival of this bundle that is not mine to share. Needless to say, Tessa Renee Barlow was born on Saturday and I love holding her... a lot. "She is so lil."
This girl holds her nook like a champ.
Until next time... farewell.
