Week 26: Half B-Day Love and Summer Start

Well, folks. Rollie was celebrated well this past week. Rollie is officially 6 months old. My baby is changing during each nap it feels like. He goes to bed and when I go get him, he looks just a lil older. My baby.

Mom actually baked a pie for Rollie (with lots of encouragement from hubs) and dad made the scene just right for a half birthday party.
Mixed Berry for the Doodle Berry.

He loved the pencil-eraser sized pie he got.
Yum.
The traditional monthly photo shoot, you are welcome:
Geoffrey got a welcomed hello.

Friends.

My sweetie pie.

Jerusalem did not get that nice of a
welcome.

Nom, Nom, Nom.

Other than being a big boy, Rollie and I have spent our week days together on stroller rides and...
Sweet boy.

Sleepy boy.

... weekends with dad disc golfing and bicycle riding.

Solving the world's problems.

Just two last photos, okay?

Baby feet are my fave. So wrinkly and presh.

Week 25: IA & WI Weekend

Caleb took Friday off so we could go down to IA to celebrate Caleb's youngest brother, Josh, who graduated from college. It was SO fun to travel and visit with family for an extended weekend. We do live far away from them but it doesn't skip a beat when we are all together either.

Paisley being the one-of-a-kind that she is. Love her.
There is tradition to have a piƱata whenever someone graduates or it is the end of the school year. Kathy doesn't fail when it comes to ideas for so many she has made in the past. Josh's graduation one was an ambulance that was smacked to pieces by the one and only, Husband Caleb.

Della LOVES babies and Rollie
does not fall short of that for her.
Once IA family time concluded, we were off to WI for a visit with the BFF from HS, Hannah (Lover). She lives in NC so when she comes home, I make it a point to meet up with her to be filled with my juju once again. She gets a part of me that no one else can get to and I cherish her friendship a ton.
Rollie does NOT stay in one place to sleep and
this is how we found him after his morning nap.
It is now tradition to go to High Rock Cliff every time we go to Wis Dells being that the months/days are limited being the condo is for sale. So, we partook in tradition.

Us on top of High Rock.

Lover and my baby love.

That was the weekend and the following are just pics of my child being himself in his cute lil world he created for us.

No, he didn't eat any of this but it sure makes for a good shot.

Week 24: Happy Mama's Day, Hooray.

This past weekend was Mama's Day for me and I loved every second of it. Last year at this time we were celebrating in Europe on our big adventure before baby, seems like so long ago and such distant memories.

This year, though, Rollie was here in our arms and that lil man n his dad spoiled me with quality time and a couple gifts. I felt like true royalty of the family. Thanks, my boys!

We traveled to a county park to go hiking, Dells of the Eau Claire River, and it was totally worth the drive and energy to get Rollie prepped for a hot, sunny walk. Babies are work, people. Sunscreen, light blankets, shoes, and the always needed full diaper bag.

Just adore him.

Momma n her baby

My lil family.

Other than the weekend of love, Rollie has been up to keeping us laughing and learning his "tricks".

Leave it to Rollie to need a wet cloth on
his head when hot. What a winter baby.

This is his next carseat. So lil.
He will be big enough in no time. :)

He is starting to really like his time on the floor
with his toys and rolling consistently.

Week 23: One More Accomplishment Checked Off

Ladies and gentlemen, it may have taken longer than the rest but Rollie rolls. Ha ha, I knew you were waiting for that lil rolly Rollie to roll around. The day is here.

Other than that, we are not up to anything special. Cinco de Cuatro (Arrested Development) and Cinco de Mayo came and went with a little margarita to share for each holiday. We are livin' the dream over her. :)

Dad is a bad influence. 'Nough said.
