What Are We Doing Lately You Ask?

I would like to take a week off from wedding details and let you in on our lives recently. I have many things to be excited about, including the wedding.

Laura:

• The wedding is currently 5 months and 5 days away. In serious planning mode because....
• I GRADUATED COLLEGE! I now officially have a marketing and spanish degree now as of last weekend. Fun huh?
• I am now looking for grown-up jobs in this grown-up world. I have two leads as of this week. Pray for me, please.
• I just got back from California (29 Palms to be exact) to visit my bestie, Ashlee. It was so great sitting in the sun and just feeling the love of the Father and of a long-distance friendship restrengthened. 
• Lastly, I just confirmed that I am moving in with another bestie, Heidi Lee, in July. We have always wanted to live together. Dream come true.
• Side Note: My girl, Heidi Lee, is finally done with cancer treatments as of today. PTL. 

Caleb:

• Well, life is normal over here for him. 
• He is still LOVING working at Regions Hospital in Saint Paul. He comes to hang out with me and just is smiling face-to-face. I love that my man loves his job, it gives me some form of security. Weird? Idc.
• He just finished Anatomy and Chemistry classes two weeks ago with flying colors. He starts Psychology class this week in order for some of the grad school application requirements. I am so proud of his determination to try and get into grad school. Another trait I choose to acknowledge and adore about my man child. 

So in general, we are learning to love eachother more, be with family more frequent in this time of change, and stick close to those friends in life we will never let go of. Ta ta, ya'll.

Navy suspenders & navy dress pants with an ivory shirt

Mustard tie with fun designs (all the men will have different designs)

The shoes will be a simple semi-shiny brown shoe.

As for the ushers, they will be following the white shirt, navy suspender, mustard-tie theme BUT they will be in a khaki colored dress pant. Kinda like this man, but a lil different...

Will the navy suspender and khaki look okay? 

 

 

 

What Shall My Girls Wear?

The choice has been made. The votes are in. My girls are reppin' the ruffles. Holla!

Bek and Ash will be in this dress:

Heidi, Hannah, and Sarah will be in this dress:

The difference? The first one is actually a halter top and the second is a full-back sleeveless dress. Simular but different... just the way I like to live my life. : )


I also have chosen the the shoes, aren't they just adorable?

As these things are ordered and set in stone, I just get too excited to see it all come together. HOORAY!
